Endeavor Kenya and Ventures Unknown Gathers 16+ Global Investors Local Entrepreneurs.

In February 2023 Endeavor and Ventures Unknown joined forces to connect top global investors with some of the most experienced founders in Nairobi. We hosted seasoned founders who share about where the ecosystem has been over the past ten years and where it’s going in the next ten.

​For context, Ventures Unknown takes early-stage investors to emerging markets around the globe and creates an experience that builds deep understanding and connections that lead to more capital in the region.

The day one (21st February 2023) kicked-off at McKinsey &Company in Nairobi; with an Investor roundtable, where  investors had a chance to connect with seasoned founders in Kenya to discuss investment trends and opportunities across EA. Participating investors included partners from QED, SVB, 500 Startups, Flourish, Jedar Capital, SpeedInvest, Roselake, Small World Capital, Fist Circle Capital, DVC, angel investors, and family offices from Colombia and Singapore.

Additionally, on the 22nd of February, we held a similar session that was fully focused on female founders in different industries. Attendees had the opportunity to network, engage in interactive discussions, and learn from experienced founders and peers as well as share their stories with the numerous investors present.

​These events provided a unique opportunity for startups and founders in Nairobi to gain valuable insights and build valuable connections with top investors.
